Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Dmitry Domrachev has had about 23 years of experience in computer software and hardware system development, about 18 years of which was in the financial services industry. From 1995 to 2012, Mr. Domrachev was the Chief Technology Officer at Thales Fund Management, LLC, a former quantitative hedge fund which was later acquired by SAC Capital Advisors, LLC. At Thales, he was in charge of planning, developing and managing complex computer technology infrastructure for the company. He also developed system connectivity to real-time datafeed from data providers such as Reuters, Comstock, and Bloomberg, as well as from stock exchanges directly. Mr. Domrachev also played an active role as a technology consultant for Miletus Trading, LLC, a broker-dealer company which was spun off from Thales Fund Management, LLC.
Mr. Domrachev is an expert in building low-latency data processing and trading systems (multiprocessing, multithreading, and non-blocking algorithms) and customized, proprietary databases and compression techniques. He is proficient in many computer programming languages, which include C/C++ and Assembler.
Mr. Domrachev received a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from St. Petersburg State University, Russia, in 1989.
